All funds raised at RexRun go to support Back the Blue K-9 Force.
Back The Blue K-9 Force is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the health, safety, and well-being of law enforcement K-9s. These extraordinary animals serve as an indispensable part of law enforcement teams across Colorado, playing critical roles in detecting explosives, illegal substances, search and rescue operations, and providing support and therapy in schools. Our goal is to ensure these loyal K-9s have the safety equipment, specialized training gear, and healthcare they need to perform their vital roles safely and effectively.
Your support makes a tangible difference in the lives of K-9s working to keep our communities safe. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have already provided critical support to K-9 units in Colorado. Over the past 11 years, donations have funded:
- Acquisition of 15 police K9s
- Funding of Specialized K9 training and equipment to include K9 body armor and training supplies
- K9 Healthcare: Donations help provide regular vet care to ensure K-9s are healthy and fit to serve, specialized care and emergency care in event of illness or injury in the field
